Program Line for Vocationally Qualified People
Who can apply?
Vocationally qualified people from abroad:
The Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM for vocationally qualified individuals offers fundings for suitably qualified young people to work or gain access to further training in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
To qualify you need to have completed a recognised programme of vocational training which could be:
- an apprenticeship
- higher NationalDiploma
- a degree in a skills-based area
- a similar non academic qualification
In addition you should be
- highly motivated
- able to provide evdience of above-average achievements through grades and references
The time you spent in Baden-Württemberg should be for further professional development and must demonstrate a clear and relevant connection to your chosen vocation.
What kind of support does the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM offer me?
Financial:
If your are accepted onto the scholarship you will receive a grant of between 800 - 900 Euros per month, to cover travel and maintenance costs.
German language courses:
In certain cases an additional grant of up to 500 Euros (maximum) may be available to cover the costs of a German language course.
How long will the support last?
The time-frame for the scholarship is either
- 2-6 months for practical placements or
- 2-11 months for college-based training
