Program Line for Vocationally Qualified People

The Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM for vocationally qualified individuals offers fundings for suitably qualified young people to work or gain access to further training in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

To qualify you need to have completed a recognised programme of vocational training which could be: 

  • an apprenticeship
  • higher National Diploma
  • a degree in a skills-based area
  • a similar non academic qualification 

A placement in Baden-Württemberg can benefit you in many ways:

  • Getting to know new service concepts, new working styles and foreign management styles
  • Receiving new ideas and impulses, in order to develop yourself personally or to move towards self-employment
  • Improving your german-language skills
  • Improving your professional qualifications
  • Getting to know a different country and a different culture

Trainees from abroad can:

  • Bring new techniques to the operations
  • Bring suggestions for service concepts or customer orientation
  • Initiate new business contacts abroad

When they return home, trainees who have been abroad can:

  •  Contribute the experience they have gained
  • Develop and nurture business contacts abroad through the improvement in their german-language skills and their cultural knowledge
  • Work more independently
