Program Line Andrássy University Budapest

The German-speaking Andrássy University Budapest (AUB), which was founded with the support of Hungary, Austria, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, opened its doors for teaching in September 2002. There is a focus on courses with European topics.

At present, the teaching curriculum consists of five courses for different target groups:

  • Master in International Economy and Business
  • Master in International Relations
  • Master in History
  • Central European Studies
  • Comparative Government and Law (LL.M.)

Graduates from the Faculty of Comparative Political Science and Jurisprudence acquire an LL.M. degree after two or four semesters. The other courses are all designed to last two years and lead to a Masters degree.
Each year, approximately 75 students are to be accepted, with one third each coming from Hungary, from German-speaking countries and from Central and Eastern European countries. Thanks to the limited number of students in the Masters programs, the AUB can guarantee an excellent supervision ratio for its students.

The charitable Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg is inviting applications for various “Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM – AUB” scholarships to strengthen the exchange program with this elite German-speaking university in the Danube region.
