Silk Road XXI 2015

The name of the project: "The pentatonic scale meets Baroque meets noise" indicates the interesting approach to this cooperation. In their joint project, the University of Music Trossingen and the University of Nanchang in China blend traditional Chinese sounds and instruments with modern electronic elements. Musically this builds a bridge between tradition and modernism, creating musical innovation in the merging of these different elements. You can enjoy the concluding concert of the BWS plus project "Silk Road XXI" in full length here
