Use of cookies  In various places we use cookies to make a visit to our internet pages attractive and to enable specific functions to be utilised. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer. Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard disk after the browser session has finished (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognise your computer again on your next visit (so-called persistent cookies). Naturally, you can also view our website without cookies. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can prevent cookies from being stored on your hard disk by selecting "Accept no cookies" or something similar in your browser settings. In this case you may not be able to use the full scope of functions of our internet pages.

Page analysis Our internet pages use Piwik, which is open source software used for statistical analysis of visitor accesses. Piwik uses cookies, in other words text files, which are stored on your computer and permit you to analyse how you use the internet pages.   The information generated concerning your use of the internet pages is stored on a server in Germany. The IP address is anonymised before the information is stored. We can then determine the network from which a query comes, but cannot assign the IP address to a computer.   You can prevent the installation of cookies by means of an appropriate setting in your browser software; in this case you may not be able to use the full scope of functions of our internet pages.   You can prevent the collection and storage of data for the purpose of web analysis by enabling the "Do Not Track" function in your browser. Piwik is configured in such a manner that it detects the "Do Not Track" function; no analysis of the usage behaviour then takes place.
