Target Group:
University students from ACP countries, LDCs and some other countries (i.e. all countries of the African continent, India, Vietnam, Palestine, Bolivia, Columbia, Peru and Venezuela) with good to excellent results and wish to stay at a Baden-Württemberg university, or students from all state universities and several private universities in Baden-Württemberg with good to excellent results and wish to stay at a university in one of the countries mentioned above.

If you wish to apply for a Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM, please contact the International Office of the university of your choice in Baden-Württemberg.
It is not possible to send applications directly to the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung.

Application Procedure:
The universities in Baden-Württemberg carry out the preselection of the applications according to their respective selection procedures and, if necessary, in coordination with the foreign university. The suggestions from the universities are then sent via the programme partner Baden-Württemberg International (bw-i) to the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung for the final decision on granting scholarships.

Special Regulations for the Regional Developmental Component:

· The principle of reciprocity can be suspended.

· No prior cooperation between the Baden-Württemberg university and the foreign university is required. The REK can be thus used to reach international university cooperation agreements with the ACP countries and the LDCs.

· Compared to the regular programme, the minimum duration of the scholarhip has been reduced from 3 to 2 months.
