New Logo for the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM
2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM. On this occasion, the STIPENDIUM gets a new logo. With the new “look”, the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung shows that the programme line keeps up with the times and continues to reinvent itself even after 20 years.
The search for a new logo took the form of a creative competition, which was advertised on the BWS-World platform, among others. The feedback was overwhelming: over 80 diverse, original and creative ideas were submitted by scholarship holders, alumni and externals. This did not make the decision easy for us. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants again for their great ideas.
In the end, three winners emerged from the competition: Elena Valentin, Felix Gräter and Julian Rebholz convinced us with their designs and were awarded prize money of 500 euros. Congratulations to the three winners.
Furthermore, Julian Rebholz was rewarded with additional prize money of 1,000 euros since his design has been chosen as the template for the new logo of the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM. The logo reflects the basic idea of the scholarship: to gain a new perspective on the world through international exchange and encounters. Julian Rebholz is studying business informatics at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Villingen-Schwenningen. He acquired graphic design skills himself through tutorials and now creates banners, logos and apps in his spare time. He found out about our competition via an e-mail from his university. Julian Rebholz convinced us with a professional and modern design, which is now being finalised by a graphics agency. We are excited about the final result and look forward to the next 20 years of borderless exchange, unique encounters and a worldwide network in the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM!

The Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM supports the international exchange of students and vocationally qualified people. Since 2001, it has enabled more than 25,000 young people from Baden-Württemberg to gain experience abroad and allowed scholarship holders from other countries to visit Baden-Württemberg. Approximately 1,500 young people receive a Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM each year.
