Who we are - Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM

Since 2001, the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung has been supporting international exchange and personal development among students and young professionals through the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM. Each year, around 1,500 scholarship recipients participate in an exchange.

The Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM

The scholarships are always closely related to the state of Baden-Württemberg: the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM offers young people from Baden-Württemberg valuable international experience - while also opening the door to Baden-Württemberg for scholarship recipients from around the world. The the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM is based on the principles of reciprocity and exchange. In this way, it makes a substantial and lasting contribution to international understanding.

The scholarship has a lot to offer

International experience, language skills, and an understanding of other cultures are more important than ever for both academic and professional success. Through the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM, the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung enables qualified young people from Baden-Württemberg to spend time abroad, as well as foreign scholarship recipients to get to know Baden-Württemberg.

In addition to a study or research stay, the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM offers recipients the opportunity to mature in their personal and professional development through intercultural experiences, as well as to develop awareness and appreciation for other cultures.

Upon acceptance, scholarship recipients can also become part of a comprehensive, international network where people from a wide variety of disciplines and cultures can connect with one another - a connection that lasts a lifetime.
